Meet Bob

It takes a lot of people to run a successful and caring animal shelter and as you know our volunteers play a huge role in this important process.

If your dog or cat has ever had surgery at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, Bob Hazzard has likely played a role in it. As a volunteer, Bob comes in five days a week to prepare our sterile surgical instruments kits.

It's not unusual for us to have more than 30 surgeries scheduled a day. Each box of supplies can be used only once before it must be sterilized.

The kits are carefully assembled so that our surgical teams can just open them and be ready to start immediately.  The time saved really adds up and allows us to perform more surgeries per day.

Please join us in thanking Bob for his kindness and dedication. We couldn't ask for a better volunteer.
